the neverending saga....
Laundry, I swear it's my demise. I'm only doing laundry for two adults, one toddler and one pint sized baby...and yet, it seems I am ALWAYS doing laundry. If I'm not washing, I'm pre-treating, or sorting, or folding, or loading/unloading, picking up, reclaiming....etc,etc. The other day I was so proud of myself, I did 4 loads of laundry in a row- completely done [and sadly, I still had laundry left to do...and that was only a week's worth of laundry] I sat down to fold , had four baskets of clean, fluffy laundry sitting infront of me and I started to fold. Just as fast as I folded, my 2.5yr old unfolded...and wielded...and hid...and stuffed...clean laundry, all over the house. That little bugger is FAST. I found a pair of jeans and a shirt stuffed inside a Little People's playset, my good shirt was hiding under the dog's bed, and he was taking off with one of my daughter's sleepers. Why? Why do little children feel the need to do this? How is hiding clean clothes ....a fun thing to do? Maybe I should try it one day and see what sort of satisfaction it brings? He may be onto something. Out of sight, out of mind as they say.
